We packed our sack lunches, our parents signed the permission slips, and we’re wearing extra sunscreen so we can hit the road on another amazing Ball State Field Trip!

The leader in “electronic” field trip experiences (that’s us!) is back with all-new educational content presented in an all-new way. In the years we’ve been away, students have gotten smarter, technology is everywhere, and budgets are tighter. So, we’ve reinvented the way we produce Field Trips to address all these changes and to bring you an even better classroom experience.

For this Field Trip season join us as we explore “Indiana Pioneers: 200 Years of Incredible Hoosiers and Big Ideas.” Using this brand new iPad app, students can join us in exploring many of Indiana’s State Historic Sites, State Parks, and other locations that tell amazing Hoosier stories in celebration of Indiana’s Bicentennial.
We’ve filled this app with one-of-a-kind experiences for students to explore. Using video, photos, articles, interactive activities, 360-degree video experiences, and more, students will be immersed in these stories like never before.

For teachers, we’ve made it even easier to use this app for in-classroom instruction. Our fancy new website (bsufieldtrips.org) is full of lesson plans that tie directly back to all the goodies students explore using the app. (We got your back… we’re teachers, too!)

Plus, if you’ve ever joined us for our live Field Trip television broadcast, we have a few new tricks up our sleeves. This app is the gateway to even more interactivity during the live show. (Think of Platform 9 3/4… it is kinda like that but for educational television!)

Whether you set students free using our “Explore” option, or you guide them through the “Classroom Activities,” you will find a completely new and engaging experience meant to take your classroom “on the road” to places students may otherwise never get to visit.

Hop on the bus and join us!
